Beds are all king size; every bedroom has its own bathroom and verandah access, beach towels, hair dryers, ceiling fans and electric blankets. Multi channel satellite TV, video/DVD, phone, gas heating, full size kitchen and laundry, wheelchair access/ramps are standard in all cottages and the house. Each cottage has full length verandahs with BBQ or the larger entertainment BBQ area. Trade Winds is part of our 70 acre property and was established in 2001 and continues to be operated by owner Robyn Tavener. The property was the original land grant of Pitcairn Islanders Jacob Christian and Samuel McCoy. This rich farmland has been farmed since these beginnings in 1856 and for the past 50 years by the Tavener family. The property has many plantings of citrus, bananas, peaches, plums, nectarines, passionfruit, pawpaw with other seasonal vegetables as available. All fruits and crops are organically grown.
