Surfers Paradise Yacht Club Specification Between the protected waters of the Gold Coast Broadwater and the open ocean of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise, the Southport Yacht Club is ideally situated to cater for any type of sailing on the gold coast.
The Yacht club has an open grassed area for rigging up to 100 boats, two lane concrete launching slipway, floating marina for temporary berthing, two tonne boat launching crane, tractor for slipway launch and retrieval and washdown facilities.
The club also has a large variety of training and coaching boats, and can source others as required.
The Sail Training Centre is fully accredited with Yachting Australia (YA) and Yachting Queensland (YQ) as a registered training centre. All staff hold the required YA and YQ coaching and instruction qualifications.
